Titanium Dioxide Classification

Class I: titanium dioxide dry and untreated, type Ⅰ titanium dioxide has a low surface area and low oil absorption.

Class II: treated with Type I Titanium Dioxide and subjected to wet grinding to remove large particles and coated with 4% silicon-aluminum, which has the lowest surface area and minimum oil absorption.

Class III: Typical superfine cladding grade with organic coating.

Ⅳ class: large package, can be divided into Ⅳa and Ⅳb, the coating amount between 5 to 10%. Ⅳb main application of high added titanium dioxide, because of its opacity is better than Ⅳa.
